Product Description
Using the principles found in the book of Nehemiah, John Kitchen shows how personal revival is what God desires for all His people and that it is possible. Rising from the rubble of previous generations, revival can happen here and now—if you allow God to work in your life.
From the back cover of the book
Rubble: the crumbled remains of a previous generation's true spiritual experience with God.
Can spiritual life and renewal ever be found in the midst of such devastation?
Yes, says John Kitchen.
"When God wants to do a fresh, reviving work in His people, He finds a person and breaks his heart."
Do you read of revivals in the past and find yourself asking God, "Why not here? Why not now? Why not me?"
If so, pick up this book now.
“Using Scripture wisely, Pastor Kitchen chronicles the principles of Nehemiah in his page-turning book, Revival in the Rubble, to lay out a Biblical approach that if heeded by church leaders would usher in a God-sent spiritual awakening for this 21st century.”
(Richard A. Burr; General Director, Pray-Think-Act Ministries)
“You’ll be delighted with this user-friendly approach to allowing God to work in our hearts, bringing spiritual renewal out of brokenness. With a remarkable blend of exposition and illustration, Kitchen shows how the transformation Nehemiah experienced can take place in our lives as well. This book speaks to our minds and our hearts. The message is clear—blessing comes from brokenness.”
(Dr. Gary Benedict; President, Christian and Missionary Alliance)
