作者简介：
罗拔．韦柏（Prof. Robert E. Webber, Th.D.），著名崇拜学大师，曾于惠敦学院（Wheaton College）任教逾三十年，为该院荣休神学教授；后任教于北方浸信会神学院（Northern Baptist Theological Seminary），王2007年病逝。1998年创立崇拜研究学院（Institute for Worship Studies），并担任院长一职。精研初期教会神学及崇拜，著作甚多，如：Worship is a Verb, Worship Pld and New, Ancient-Future Faith, Worship: Journey into His Presence, The Younger Evangelicals, The Divine Embrace等，其中Worship Old and New已译成中文版《崇拜：认古职今》。他亦是The Complete Library of Christian Worship（七册）的编辑。
